Grow Your Own – plant your own herb garden. Already on the day before the fair, the trend scout Romeo Sommers presented the current outdoor trend towards cultivating plants yourself within the framework of a press event. Lavender, rosemary, sorrel and thyme, combined with flowering plants in soft tones – this year, the consumers are liking it natural and varied.
In this season, the customers are preferring smaller combinations of various materials and plants, artistically decorated and supplemented by personal accessories. The mixed cultivation for the living room should be, above all, green, natural and good for your well-being. Floral living culture is experiencing a renaissance – the plant is returning to our living spaces.
IPM ESSEN is collecting all the components in order to equip the floral retail trade with new creations for raising its turnover. Florists and other trade visitors are being offered a multifaceted creative exchange for obtaining inspirations, exchanging specialist ideas and placing orders. Countless innovations in the cut flower and pot plant fields are being introduced in the Innovation Showcase of the Central Horticultural Association in Hall 1A. An extensive supporting programme is accompanying the fair and providing insights into the fields of marketing techniques, winning over target groups as well as point of sale concepts – also concentrated in the Green City in Hall 1A.Back to the news overview
