On Wednesday, 24.01.2024, the stand event "Live-bench-grafting" will take place from 10:00 - 16:00 with Georg Schneider. Interested parties can have their favorite from the variety tasting hand grafted directly at the Artevos booth.
Among the previously small mirabelles, there is finally a variety with lage fruits and a strikingly aromatic flavor: MIROMA®. It is significantly larger than the 'Mirabelle von Nancy' and is particularly suitable for fresh consumption and fresh marketing due to its beautiful coloring. Its high sugar content (20-30° Brix) and excellent aroma also make it particularly suitable for distilleries. The attractive, yellow, large and round-oval fruits with orange-red cheeks are firm and the flesh separates easily from the stone, which is also an important criterion for an uncomplicated and quick snacks for in between. MIROMA® is robust and reliable when it comes to harvesting: the self-fertile variety ensures regular and high yields.

In the second half of September, the Artevos novelty JOGANTA® ripens with oval, huge fruits. Individual fruits can even reach a weight of up to 90 grams, making the plum particularly suitable for fresh consumption. The firm, dark yellow, juicy flesh has a high sugar content, which gives this variety a full plum flavor. They are also pleasing to the eye: The fruits are dark blue with a strong frosting. JOGANTA® is also uncomplicated to grow: a hardy variety with a compact habit that makes it very easy to grow.

If you are looking for something space-saving for your small garden, ELLORA® is a real snack dream come true: practical experience has shown that the red-fleshed columnar peach adapts well to the environmental conditions and also offers regular and high yields. An important snacking characteristic is the firm flesh, which does not melt and dissolves well in the stone, but here too, the eye eats along: the attractive, blood-red, slightly tart fruits are white on the inside - at the stone - with a deep red pigmentation towards the outer skin. The skin is slightly hairy and also pigmented in beautiful shades of red.

NEW FRUIT TREES WITH BENEFICIAL PROPERTIES
You are spoilt for choice when it comes to selecting varieties, but useful advantages can be particularly helpful. Artevos is an association of different shareholders who have joined their forces to support the development, promotion and marketing of new, healthy fruit varieties by contributing their strengths and competences. Active for the good taste – this has been the motivation for our search for new fruit varieties for over 25 years.
For as different as they are, all our new fruit varieties have an important common feature: a new flavourful experience that meets the highest demands. Our fruit varieties come exclusively from conventional breeding work. We work intensively with famous institutions in Germany and abroad which specialize in the breeding work.
We are firmly convinced that only together we can develop valuable ideas for new varieties. By "we" we mean ARTEVOS and our partners, but also interested nurseries who want to take advantage of our new varieties and our range of products for their production success. In order that these companies / enterprises can participate in our new fruit varieties and contribute to their multiplication, we issue licences – we are currently working with more than 200 nurseries in and outside Europe.
