Eclipse® F2/F4/F6 coatings, Sudlac’s historical range and the result of years of development and optimization, are three shading coatings for greenhouses, tunnels, and shelters, offering the same level of protection but for different lengths of time. This allows growers to select the protection time that best meets their needs without having to remove the coating.

Eclipse® LD is a removable white shading coating for greenhouses. It protects crops against too much light and heat throughout the season and can be applied on the outside of all standard greenhouses. Eclipse LD needs to be mixed with water and can be applied in many situations, making it a basic yet all-round product for use in horticulture worldwide. Eclipse LD is highly wear-resistant and easily removed with Topclear at the end of the season.

GS-4 is a cleaning agent specially developed for glasshouses. It effectively removes all contamination, such as dirt, dust, soot, and organic materials. 

Dirty glass not only causes loss of light. A layer of dirt also provides a hiding place and breeding ground for disease. Fungi, bacteria, and viruses survive more easily when the glass is dirty.

ReduClean has been specially developed to easily remove ReduSystems coatings from the greenhouse cover. For the use of a Dosatron® pump and for diffuse coatings, there are special ReduClean versions: ReduClean DT and ReduClean for diffuse coatings.

ReduSystems coatings are very wear-resistant. This means that they must be actively removed at the end of the season when they are no longer needed. ReduClean ensures that the coating dissolves. The rain then washes away the dissolved coating of the greenhouse cover.

PipePaint is a water-based paint with three functions. The first function protects from rust. Secondly, the paint improves the reflection of light on the heating pipes by up to 50%. The third function is an improvement of the heat transfer by as much as 10%.

Because PipePaint is water-soluble, there is no need to be concerned about fumes that could harm crops or people. For all crops, painting during cultivation can be done without harming the crop.

AntiReflect improves light incidence. The application of this coating on the outside of the greenhouse cover reduces the reflection from the glass so that more sunlight enters the greenhouse. That is particularly welcome in autumn, winter, and spring.

No matter how crystal clear your glass, there is always a small part of the sunlight that cannot enter your greenhouse and reach your crop. As a certain percentage of the sunlight is always reflected by the greenhouse glass. AntiReflect reduces that reflection so that more light reaches the crop. That boosts production and reduces energy consumption.

AntiCondens is intended for the inside of the greenhouse cover. Over the course of the year, for about half the time the glass is wet with condensation. AntiCondens ensures a water film and prevents the formation of large drops of condensation. This improves light incidence.

During autumn, winter, and spring, you want as much light as possible in the greenhouse. The inside of the glass is often wet because of condensation. Big drops prevent light from entering by 8% in glass and 20% in plastic. A thin water film can actually improve the amount of light that enters. AntiCondens provides such a fine distribution of the water.

ReduFlex Blue is a photo-selective coating which has a beneficial effect on the cultivation and production of cut roses because it transmits relatively less blue light than red light. It also reflects high levels of infrared radiation (heat).

As a result, the ratio between the light colors changes. ReduFlex Blue improves photosynthesis by allowing crops to reap optimal benefits from relatively high amounts of red light. At the same time, it lowers the greenhouse and plant temperatures by more reflection of high-energy blue light and infrared radiation. With certain crops that are sensitive to this it increases stem length. This is often much desired for cut flowers like roses.

ReduFuse IR is a coating that reduces heat radiation while diffusing the light when it enters the greenhouse. That improves growth and production.

A diffuse coating distributes the incoming light. This leads to the top of the crop getting a bit less light, the middle leaves more. Net photosynthesis therefore increases. ReduFuse IR distributes sunlight in the greenhouse and protects the crop from heat radiation.

ReduFuse IR is suitable for all crops that are heavily dependent on light and has proven successful when applied to flowers, plants, and vegetables in warm climates and during warm periods. ReduFuse IR is ideal for crops that thrive on diffused light but cannot stand too much heat.

ReduFuse distributes sunlight in the greenhouse. The even light distribution provides optimal growth of the crop and thus potentially more production and better quality.

A diffuse coating ensures that the light is distributed better in the greenhouse, both horizontally and vertically. There are no more light and dark areas. Due to the evenness of the light, the crop experiences less stress and grows better. In addition, the light penetrates deeper into the crop. The leaves further down in the crop become much more active due to this light increase.

ReduFuse is suitable for all crops that need large amounts of light. ReduFuse has proven to be successful for vegetable crops and highly light-dependent flowers and plants.

Spray Chalk was developed specifically for use during high solar radiation. The shading effect can be easily adjusted. SprayChalk can be used for temporary additional shading on ReduSol, ReduHeat, ReduFuse and ReduFuse IR during very hot summers.
 

ReduHeat is a removable coating that reflects the heat rays (infrared) of the sun. The transmission of grow light (PAR) remains high.

Every shading agent has its strong features. The agent that best suits your situation mainly depends on the crop and sometimes the variety. General shading coatings provide shade from the sunlight across the whole spectrum. However, if the crop is suffering from heat, but it could still convert light into production, ReduHeat is a better choice. This coating shades the plants from infrared light, which warms up the plants, and lets more grow light through. It is suitable for crops that thrive on large amounts of light but need protection against heat.
