Started at 11 June 2018, the Ridder Group are one brand. Its existing range of brands made way for one umbrella brand, Ridder, to enhance our profile and name recognition on the international market. The company name HortiMaX B.V. will be discontinued.
As Klaas van de Poppe, the CEO of Ridder, explains: “We concluded that our existing brands, corporate identities and online channels were too fragmented. That’s why we introduced a single brand for the Ridder Group, with a new corporate identity that will strengthen our visual impact and profile on the international market. This will also reinforce mutual commitment and commercial cooperation within Ridder’s different business units.”
HortiMaX company name will disappear
HortiMaX B.V. became Ridder Growing Solutions B.V. The name HortiMaX will not disappear entirely, though. It will still feature in a few product names, such as our HortiMaX CX500 and HortiMaX-Go! climate computers. All our international offices in Canada, the USA, France, Spain, Mexico and China will also take the Ridder name.
New look and feel
The new Ridder also adapted a new look and feel, and a new joint website: www.ridder.com. We will use this online channel to expand our services and provide knowledge. We will introduce all kinds of new services such as calculation tools and intelligent apps. This will enable us to make good on our new promise to customers “Helping you grow your way”.

At Ridder, the drive to innovate is in our DNA. We are also committed to finding the best possible solution. Today, Ridder has customers in more than 100 countries, who receive support from international offices and a global partner network.
Our future health and wellbeing will largely depend on a successful global transition to efficient controlled environment agriculture.
