Authentic concrete look
Concrete is all the rage at the moment! It’s easy for Scheurich to enter the market successfully with C-Cone, it is the embodiment of attractive concrete-like design. The new planters and the bowl are timeless eye-catchers and set the framework for creative combinations throughout the seasons.
Moving them around is also no problem, C-Cone is really light and can be moved and rearrangend easily. The water drainage hole in the base prevents water logging during heavy downpours and creates optimal conditions for plant growth. When used indoors, the plug can be put out of its “parking position” to completely seal the planter, so protecting sensitive floorings from water stains.
The slightly uneven surface of C-Cone gives it a natural feel. A sense of the Mediterranean comes to patios and gardens when C-Cone is combined with a big-leaf hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla) or a small olive tree (Olea europaea). The bowl can be used exceptionally well for container gardening; blossoming annuals arranged with colourful, leafy plants. Japanese bloodgrass (Imperata cylindica Red Baron) grows high above the planter, and the blooms of carnation (Dianthus caryophyllus Peman) or geraniums (Pelargonium Angel) create a beautiful contrast to the planters’ colour options of Stony Black and Stony Grey.
The C in C-Cone stands for concrete. The conical planters add to the C-Cube series and currently complete the Scheurich product range. These 100% recyclable and durable plastic planters with their thick walls are manufactured using a sophisticated rotation-moulding technique, making them look almost entirely like authentic concrete planters.
Stylish design objects
Nature meets modern design! The Flow series by Scheurich unites organic shapes and the characteristic look of stone - both current design trends - and sets the bar for outdoor decoration in 2019 and beyond. With two sizes and colours Flow invites creative arrangements, creating a “riverbed with stones” within the domestic garden.
Flow is an impressive eye-catcher. The strong green of bamboo combined with the subtle shades of Stony Black and Stony Grey create a relaxing element on the patio. The inside of the double-walled planters has an insert which makes changing plants easy, allowing you the joy of changing your display with the seasons: switching between the evergreen favourites Fargesia rufa and Fargesia 'Blue Lizard’ and new seasonal plants, just as the fancy takes you.
These lightweight pots can spend the cold season in a protected winter retreat. The hole in the side, which prevents waterlogging in the planter during the outdoor months, can be sealed easily and safely with a plug once indoors. Clever details like the plug and the insert, just like the high-quality manufacturing, as always reflect Scheurich’s Made in Germany quality.
Cacti are getting more and more popular not just in gardens and balconies but also as housemates. Cacti and succulents are having a revival within modern interior design styles – no wonder the new cover-pot series Cactus Garden piques our interest with its look. A colourful mix of pretty cactus designs decorates these three newcomers – two making a solo appearance and the third one featuring an all over print.
The cactus doesn’t like being alone! Arrange together to create small indoor gardens with Cactus Garden by Scheurich. Golden barrel cactus or strawberry cactus are good choices – but many others can be matched with the cover-pots Cacti, Carla and Carlos. Rays of sunlight put these charming cover-pots into the right perspective and provide ideal growing conditions because cacti and Echeveria prefer bright spots often close to the window.
There are so many varieties of cacti available, with luxurious blossoms in bright white or strong pink and yellow, they make great houseplants. And they are low-maintenance when it comes to watering - all cacti and succulents store water in their thick bodies and leaves, making them great companions for globetrotters and those who are often out and about. Nevertheless, these high quality ceramic cover-pots come with the 100 percent waterproof guarantee from Scheurich.
A different kind of tweet
Say it with Scheurich. The short messages of the new cover-pot series speak for themselves: Love, Dream and Be Happy. Message is therefore the most beautiful alternative to a digital one. It’s a welcome and visually pleasing homage to stylish, classic design. The popular font Futura used in grey decorates these simple cover-pots and ensures they become a feature for plant lovers in any living space.
Futura – just like the Bauhaus era – stands for timeless modernity, and it has done so for more than 90 years. The Message range therefore fits well within a number of trends, including Scandinavian Flair and retro chic, without losing its powerful meaning. Sometimes Message is that little touch of inspiration for ourselves or it conveys “everything is going to be OK”, “take care” or “I love you” to others. Message is a perfect gift for birthdays and reunions, but it can also show your appreciation at any occasion.
Being charmed the analogue way is simply cool: On-trend plants like moth orchids (Phalaenopsis), walking ferns (Asplenum Parvati) or proclainflower (Hoya camosa) are stylish matches for these three new cover-pots. And in this time of social media these short messages hit just the right tone: Love, dreams and happiness create a positive atmosphere and help to refocus thoughts when taking a break from the stresses of work.
The high quality ceramic cover-pots are Made in Germany and guaranteed to be 100 percent waterproof.
Market leader in planters and accessories
Indoor and Outdoor | Ceramics and Plastics | Made in Germany
The Scheurich success story is characterised by constant growth. In 1928, Alois Scheurich founded the company as a wholesaler of glass, porcelain and ceramic products. Production of ceramics then got underway in the 1950s. Thanks to a wide range of innovations, our family business grew to become the market leader in Europe for indoor containers and accessories for flowers and plants. In 2012 it was time for the next major step: Scheurich has become a producer of plastic outdoor containers, too.
At the production site in Kleinheubach/Main, a team of 300 employees create up to 100,000 items each day using highly automated production lines with robots and state-of-the-art kiln systems and coating machines. Furthermore, logistics with a fully integrated SAP system enable us to offer customers just-in-time delivery. This guarantees a high level of flexibility and short supply chains, helping to protect the environment at the same time. This is of great importance to the company: Scheurich produces environmentally friendly and we’re certified: ISO-14001-, ISO-50001 and Ecoprofit have officially acknowledged our company standards, which makes us market leader in our segment when it comes to environmental protection.
At our new production facilities in Neukirchen and Crimmitschau, we manufacture plastic containers with the immense capacity of 34 injection moulding machines and 4 rotational moulding machines. This production plant has lately also been certified ISO 50001.
