Other exciting new products which on display will include Sutera Cabana, Petunia Sanguna, Calibrachoa Callie® and Lobelia erinus Techno Up.
Other new editions which will be presented during IPM 2017 include the Primula range, with two completely new series for the late flowering segment introduced during IPM. One is Mitra Late and the other Paradiso Late. The Mitra series with its very uniform compact growth is ideal for high density production, while there are also new varieties coming forward in the Sirococco series.
With so many eye catching plants, it will be hard for visitors to pick a single favourite, but the series of Saxifraga Alpino, including the variety Carneval are another stand out product. Another highlight on the stand will be an assortment of novelty Poinsettia, which will be part of a display of most of the company’s complete Poinsettia assortment. This will highlight new introductions, such as Aria Red, Magma Red and Majoris Red, as well as Venus Hot Pink. Magma Red has a compact and V-shaped growth habit together with a great bright red colour. It has an extremely robust root system, making it a very strong variety. In terms of production it requires little use of PGR, is easy to sleeve, and has strong cyathia coupled with a superb shelf life.
Among many other novelties, one outstanding introduction to be featured at IPM 2017 is FPS’s very special new colour in its Endurio® series of Viola cornuta, which are well known for their flat-landscaping habit and for their vigorous growth.
