Weishaupt WM-series monarch® burners for the simultaneous combustion of natural gas and biogas

Weishaupt WM-series monarch® burners for the simultaneous combustion of natural gas and biogas

Weishaupt monarch® (WM) burners are compact, powerful, and quiet. They can be employed on hot-water boilers, steam boilers, air heaters, and some thermal process applications.

Weishaupt’s WM-series gas and dual-fuel burners are equipped with electronic compound regulation and digital combustion management as standard. This allows for the simultaneous combustion of two fuels, such as natural gas and biogas, which both utilises renewable energies and reduces peak loads on the public gas network.

On-the-fly fuel changeover without an intervening burner shutdown and restart is possible, as is individual and simultaneous combustion or other customer-tailored solutions.

Weishaupt Premix LowNOx gas burners PLN (60 to 5000 kW)

Weishaupt Premix LowNOx gas burners PLN (60 to 5000 kW)

Across the world, emission limits for oxides of nitrogen are becoming ever more stringent. Weishaupt always offers a burner model that meets NOx emission requirements and has different burner executions that enable it to do this.

Weishaupt’s PLN (Premix LowNOx) technology makes it possible to meet even the world's toughest emission specifications. The PLN system combines the premixing principle with a large combustion surface area. This ensures a homogeneous gas/air mixture and reliable ignition, while adjustment of the O2 content facilitates NOx optimisation across the entire load range. In this way, PLN technology enables nitrogen oxide emissions from gas burners to be reduced to 20 mg/kWh, a figure that could seldom be achieved before. Weishaupt PLN-version burners are available for outputs up to 5000 kW, opening up a realm of new application possibilities.

Weishaupt compact burners series W for gas and oil (12 to 700 kW)

Weishaupt compact burners series W for gas and oil (12 to 700 kW)

The Weishaupt gas and oil burners series W cover a considerable capacity range from 12 up to 700 kW. These burners represent the ultimate in reliability and safety – of particular importance to schools, hospitals, bakeries, horticultures and paintshops, but equally of benefit to all applications, including residential buildings large or small.

The dual-fuel burners WGL30 and WGL40 offer the flexibility of gas or oil-fired operation. In normal operation, gas is generally used as the main fuel. Remote fuel changeover between gas and oil can be easily effected via the optional field bus expansion module.

Company profile

The Weishaupt Group has over 4100 employees and is a market leader for burners, condensing boilers, heat pumps, solar energy, and building automation.

The core division is Max Weishaupt GmbH, which is located in the southwest German town of Schwendi and includes the Group's own Research and Development Institute.
Since 2009, the business, which was founded in 1932, has been structured as a holding for three companies operating in the fields of energy technology, energy recovery, and energy management.

Energy Technology: Weishaupt offers an extensive range of products, with burners as well as complete heating systems, from gas and oil-fired condensing boilers through to solar heating systems and heat pumps that make use of renewable energy sources.

Energy Recovery: BauGrund Süd, which has been part of the Weishaupt Group since 2009, undertakes geothermal probe and well-drilling projects for heat pump installations. It also carries out site investigations and subsoil surveys. BauGrund Süd has around 40 highly professional drill gangs and, with the valuable experience of having drilled over 3 million metres, is one of Europe's leading near-surface geothermal businesses.

Energy Management: Neuberger building automation has been part of the Weishaupt Group since 1995, supplying intelligent building management systems. These systems provide efficient and cost-effective solutions that connect all of the technical systems in a building, such as heating, air conditioning, ventilation, lighting, sunscreening, and all kinds of security systems.
