OUR NURSERY

Giacomelli Piante has been active for over 50 years in the nursery sector. We
are located in Pistoia and our nursery covers 25 hectares. We grow a large
variety of ornamental plants, conifers, hedging plants and climbing plants.
Over the years, thanks to our family tradition made of passion and hard work,
our company has grown gaining the trust of prestigious customers throughout
Europe. Our staff is experienced and highly specialized, and can meet all of
our customers’ requirements with continuous care from the first contact,
issuing of quotes, taking orders, organizing logistics and providing
post-sales assistance. The quality of our products, our care for details, our
respect for the environment, our enhancement of the human factor and
professional synergy with our customers, are the characteristics that have
made Giacomelli Piante an important element on the international nursery
landscape.

OPEN GROUND CULTIVATION
Our open ground cultivations cover an area of roughly 18 hectares, and it is
here that our experience and hard work take shape. The various phases of
production, from grafting to turfing, represent the greatest possibility for
us to express our know-how. The experience we inherited and developed over
time and which we have acquired in our interesting confrontations with our
colleagues/clients form the solid foundation of our activity.

CONTAINER PLANTS
Our assortment of container plants is wide and includes all the varieties
grown in the nursery, together with varieties that have been singled out as
seasonal favourites. Our choice to provide a large range of container plants
is connected to our wish to satisfy our customers, especially wholesalers and
garden centers, who need to receive a fresh product that can be safely
transplanted at any time of the year.

LOGISTICS
Our company has developed over the years a modern, efficient logistics
organization that is able to respond quickly and punctually to any
requirement. The management of shipments, both ‘groupages’ and complete, is
entrusted to a system that is both tested and flexible, that has made solidity
one of our outstanding characteristics. Your plants will always travel
properly loaded and protected, at the right temperature, and will reach you on
the required date.
