Assortment strategy

Our assortment strategy focuses on robust, high-yielding plants that bear aromatic fruit and prove themselves both in the home garden and on the balcony and terrace. Every year we introduce special novelties. We include only those varieties that convince us and meet the criteria already mentioned. Aromatic novelties, fruits with a high health value or plants with improved quality characteristics play an important role in the selection.

Häberli Fruchtpflanzen AG specializes in high-quality fruit and berry plants for the home garden, balcony and terrace and counts customers in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, South Tyrol and Slovenia among its long-standing customers. The company covers an area of 8.5 hectares and produces at its main site in Neukirch-Egnach (Switzerland). A further distribution site is located in Bad-Neustadt a. d. Saale. Founded in 1964, the company celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2014. Progress and change have shaped the history of Häberli Fruchtpflanzen, with a major realignment taking place with the integration of the business into the Swiss Rutishauser Group from 2008 onwards (www.rutishauserag.ch). The previously served commercial cultivation was detached from the company and the business focus was placed exclusively on the market segment of hobby gardeners.

Häberli stands for:
- healthy plants that give a lot of pleasure
- fruits with a distinctive aroma that are a pleasure to eat fresh or processed
- robust varieties that are particularly suitable for the home garden

The aim of Häberli's variety procurement is to produce robust varieties with high yields and highly aromatic fruits, especially suitable for home gardens, balconies and terraces.
