A special highlight at our booth: we will present innovative agroforestry trees from an Air-Pot-U-Gutter system and clearly demonstrate how modern planting material with optimized root development is produced - a key future topic for sustainable land use and green professions.

In addition, we will provide insights into modern teaching formats such as the planning and role-playing game “Projektopia,” through which students learn project management, teamwork, and decision-making in a playful and practice-oriented way.

On Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., students together with the cooperation partner Vannucci Piante will report on a Summer School that was carried out on the production and use of Mediterranean woody plants. As part of the cooperation, students from the horticulture and landscape architecture degree programs gained hands-on insights at the Nursery Campus Pistoia into plant assortments, plant use, and the processes of an internationally operating nursery. The results and assignments of the Summer School will be officially presented to the cooperation partners at the exhibition booth during IPM.
