With a strong focus on sustainability and efficiency, ICL Growing Solutions will be showcasing its latest developments at IPM Essen 2026 in Hall 3.
Gronamic 6-2-4 combines fertilisation and soil activation in one step – ideal for beds, trees, borders and lawns. In addition, ICL offers Quick Seed Pro, an all-in-one repair kit for bare patches in lawns – fast, effective and user-friendly.
A particular highlight is the development of biodegradable coatings for controlled-release fertilisers. Since 2017, this topic has been one of the largest research projects at ICL. Since then, a large part of the Research & Development department has been working intensively on this future technology, which represents a sustainable further development of the proven controlled-release fertilisers.
The company has now received EU certification for its new biodegradable coating technology. This officially confirms that the coating meets all the requirements of the EU regulation – a decisive step towards the planned market launch in October 2028.
Until then, new production facilities will be built and manufacturing processes further optimised in order to implement the innovation on an industrial scale. ICL also offers trade visitors a comprehensive brochure on fertilisation and water management for new substrates. Over 60 pages provide practical explanations of how nutrient supply and water balance can be optimally tailored to new substrate systems.
