Adding some sparkle to the winter
Soendgen Keramik creates a festive atmosphere in its own special way with its new product “Bologna”. With a slightly bent, powdery-looking structure available in “silver white” and “gold white”, “Bologna” softly reflects the light coming in. The interior of the Bologna vessels emphasises their high quality even more through their all-over shiny matt gold and silver color. This creates an exciting “in and out effect” for a glamorous Christmas.

Naturally purist - the “Concrete Living” trend
The minimalist style of Scandinavian design with its light and dark color nuances and clear shapes is increasingly shaping ideas in interior design. Exposed concrete plays a huge part in this. The new “Latina Concrete” series in “light-grey cement” with two different versions impresses both as a Jardinère as well as a square planter. The new “Bettona” product in “light and dark grey cement” is the ideal addition to the series with its round shape.

The bloom-like form of the new orchid vase "Madeira Orchid" by SK highlights the beauty of the plant
With the trade fair newcomer "Madeira Orchid", Soendgen Keramik is introducing an orchid vase in the form of a flower and is following the design trend of deformation. "Dynamic Shapes" is the name that SK gives to this style that modifies usual symmetries and reinterprets corners and edges in creative diversity.
The gentle, dynamic flowing form of "Madeira Orchid" supports the beauty of the still most popular houseplant and creates a graceful, lively interplay of plant and vessel. The delicate, blossom-shaped curves give the vessel a feminine, elegant style – made only for the "queen of flowers". The same applies to the color concept: white, cyclamen, lavender and soft yellow are precisely attuned to the different types of orchids. An exclusive special feature is anthracite: The noble-purist tone provides form and plant with the lead role and is attractive with its masterfully restrained presence in a contemporary setting.
Proper protection for long-lasting beauty
Not only beauty, but also protection and care are important criteria in the development of cachepots at Soendgen.
Like all SK orchid vases, "Madeira Orchid" is also equipped with the anti-water-logging ridge, which protects plants from too much watering. With its 14 cm diameter and 15 cm height, the vase is perfectly matched to the proportion of the orchid. The beautiful vessels can also be combined together excellently – for example, as an attractive duo in the colors cyclamen and anthracite.
The deformation of the ceramic vessels is possible, by the way, due to an innovative technique that has been specially developed by Soendgen Keramik.
SK has extended its open-air collection with puritanically straight terracotta vessels that have high-quality surface protection
The trend for "outdoor living" is unbroken – whether in rural areas or in cities. With the trade fair newcomer "Sardegna", Soendgen now has a terracotta series with a modern-minimalist style. In keeping with the urban outdoor ambiance, the look is determined by a basically conical form and straight, horizontal lines, as can be found in terrace flooring or slatwalls. Depending on the size and shape, the design consists of two or three grooves. The clear appearance gives the material and color an attractive, natural touch: The Terracotta decor is wiped sand gray.
Genuine terracotta – stays beautiful through quality surface protection
For customers who value a consistent appearance, Soendgen has provided the vessels with a high quality sealant. It gently protects the open-air series "Sardegna" from weathering and efflorescence – the beautiful appearance is maintained over a long period of time. An optimal solution for consumers who love this natural material, but who do not want to compromise on appearance. Water stains, lime scaling and moss are prevented, and the sand gray wiped decor remains immaculate – as on the first day. The positive properties of the clay are maintained, such as its breathability or its frost and UV resistance.
With their graceful style, the natural terracotta vessels adorn balcony, garden and terrace
"Calabria". The name of the new high pot series in the SK Outdoor range has been chosen deliberately. Thoughts wander to southern Italy, one thinks of the sun and the Mediterranean, staying outdoors. There, it's natural to make the garden, patio or balcony as attractive as possible. Soendgen provides for this with its open-air collection of decorative cachepots made of real terracotta. The material is back in fashion. It satisfies customers who enjoy natural beauty and vessels with authentic character.
Leaf tendrils in relief
The innovative relief design on the upper edge of the vessel is noteworthy: It shows fine leaf tendrils, which underline the natural look of "Calabria". An eye-catcher that differentiates the cachepot from the ordinary and makes it special. The high pot "Calabria" is available in 23, 27, 31 and 36 cm diameters with matching saucers. As to color, there is the choice of terracotta and sand gray.
Only the best for plants
The skill of Soendgen lies not only in the design – the focus is primarily on the plants. As a result, the natural material offers many advantages: With its open pores, terracotta is breathable, absorbing water and releasing it again – for nice, strong growth. In addition, a water drain hole in the bottom ensures against water logging in the pot, thereby protecting the roots from too much moisture. Terracotta vessels are UV and frost resistant, so they can even be stored outside in winter. Be sure that they don't absorb too much water in freezing temperatures, though.
The plant varieties which look particularly attractive in the new "Calabria" high pots are indicated for the presentation of the products: those with small stems, such as olive trees, orange trees, lemon trees or boxwood. Those who prefer flowering plants should select a plant with a single color – lavender, heather or coxcomb.
The series which imitates natural stone now also offers large floor vessels and a jardinière
Strong sales trends – close to the market and close to the customer – characterize SK-Design. The best example: "Latina Stonewall". The cachepot with the exceptional and carefully crafted stone wall appearance is already successfully pleasing customers. Reason enough to expand the series by another, attractive décor: Now, the quadrangular vessels also come with a bright, natural stone look. As with the "Stone Grey" variation, the "Stone Beige" vessels are pleasing due to their authentic-living play of colors. Also new are the following sizes: 21, 24 and 29 cm diameter. They complement the previous dimensions of 13, 16 and 18 cm. The large floor vessels fit particularly well in a sophisticated, modern style of living – expressively staged with verdure, such as Sansevieria or Rhipsalis. The jardinière offers space for the combination of two plants, is in strong demand by consumers and is also new in the series.
For many lovers, 14 February should bring not only red roses but also ideally many hearts. Every year, Valentine's Day promises increased sales for florists, the flower trade and garden centres. For the 2016 season, Soendgen Keramik is presenting a new take on the theme of "Give with your heart"; the planter, "Valentine" in the classic wedding color of cream and glossy bordeaux will seduce customers into buying with its decorative, raised heart relief. And because matters of the heart are also particularly to the fore on Mother's Day, the planters are also in the campaign display with a topper motif for the spring season. Soendgen's "in-between concept" offers additional sales promotion; the combined placement of "Valentine" with the mono colour best sellers "Dallas Style" in glossy bordeaux and cream create a vibrant product display that is bound to increase sales!
Triangle series "Malmö Nature" is attractive with its natural two-tone look
"Malmö Nature" expands the triangle series "Malmö" with a purist color design that has a rustic natural charm. The vessels are specially designed for cacti that are seen by designers as current and upcoming trendy plants. Expressive peculiarity of "Malmö Nature": The cachepots and bowls held in raw terra and gray are combined with a glossy-smooth edge in the trendy color of mint. An eye-catching two-tone look – deliberately attuned to the plants that shimmer with two colors in the light. The green of the cacti changes depending on the characteristics or type of the stem and needles – a play of color which is reflected by the pastel mint color and staged as an eye catcher.
The range of the "Malmö Nature" series includes cachepots in the sizes of 13 and 16 cm diameter as well as a bowl with a 22 cm diameter.
Seen – purchased: This is how the successful product presentation works.
Thinking in concepts is one of the major strengths of the offers from Soendgen Keramik. Experience shows that harmonious product concepts stimulate customers more to make a purchase than do individual products. As a result, the manufacturer not only recommends suitable plants for each new product, but also provides ideas on the presentation of goods. The PoS for "Malmö Nature" is designed effectively with a durable, bright wood table or a piece of furniture in the vintage style. Cacti are decorated together with the SK StyleStones. Tips for the shell: It is suitable for a stone garden or cacti arrangement. In addition, "Malmö Nature" can also be an attention-getter between the "Malmö" series.
Whether on fabrics or as an accessory—the star is now the popular decor object. At Soendgen, the three dimensional relief motif is an eye-catching part of the Dallas Magic Stars Christmas Collection. The star decor in magic gold, silver and copper cover the white planters like a touch of snowflakes.
