The Center for Business Management in Horticulture and Applied Research is an information hub for horticultural companies, consultants and experts on business management issues in all areas of horticulture. We offer the following services:
Moreover, the center engages in applied research on economic and business management topics related to sustainable and competetive horticultural production and services in Germany.
The ZBG is an institution funded by the federal and state governments and is based at the Institute for Agricultural Business Studies at the University of Hohenheim. A core task of the ZBG is the implementation of the horticultural business comparison in cooperation with (tax) consulting. Further tasks of the center are the promotion and support of horticulture through research, investigation and training activities in the field of business management as well as the creation of decision-making aids for the federal and state governments.
