One of the largest garden festivals in the world!
The International Garden Exhibition (IGA) will take place from 23 April to 17 October 2027, for the first time in North Rhine-Westphalia and for the first time in the Ruhr region. And it has big plans: the garden show will address global issues of the future, put sustainable companies, start-ups and project sponsors in the spotlight, and showcase the region's green highlights. It will offer unique events and attractions, high-class culture and interactive activities. Under the motto ‘Future.Blooms.’ the IGA 2027 wants to shape the green future of the Ruhr area together with you.
Decentralised garden show throughout the region
The IGA Ruhrgebiet 2027 will be as diverse as the Ruhr area itself. The potential and qualities of the region and its inhabitants will be intelligently linked at different levels, making the IGA 2027 unique. With the participatory level MY GARDEN, the green potential of OUR GARDENS and the visitor magnets of the FUTURE GARDENS, the Ruhr region is on its way to becoming the greenest industrial region in the world.
