Practical solutions for climate change

From 27 to 30 January 2026, Hall 7 will be all about trees and shrubs.

The new Woodland Arena will show how climate-resistant trees and shrubs can make cities, forests and private gardens fit for the future. Visitors can look forward to a varied programme of lectures, panel discussions and practical contributions from the fields of research, practice, breeding, trade, planning and local government.

Why a woodland arena?

Climate change poses major challenges for the green industry. Heat waves, drought and extreme weather require new product ranges, innovative care concepts and well-thought-out site selection. IPM ESSEN is setting an example with the woodland arena: here, trade visitors can gain valuable insights for their daily business and exchange ideas with experts.
