Company profile

In a small Portuguese village, in 1978, Borralheira was born — in a time of change, with the dream of building something that would endure.

What began as a family pursuit of the art of ceramics grew into a lasting legacy, rooted in tradition and resilience.

From the very beginning, everyday moments — like sharing meals — became acts of joy and togetherness.

The founder’s children grew up surrounded by the scent of clay and the rhythm of tools, learning not only the craft but also the values that sustain it.

Today, they carry that spirit forward, blending heritage with new ideas.

Each piece we create reflects the strength, creativity, and soul of Portuguese tradition.

Using natural local raw materials, we design and produce stoneware pieces, offering four types of clay: white, terracotta, grey, and black.

Every piece is made with precision, care, and a commitment to quality and innovation.
