Plants need light in the range of 400-700nm to grow. However, also other light colors such as far red light are affecting plant morphology or physiological processes. The LED-KE 300 provides everything that plants need. Four channels in blue (450 + 470 nm), red (660 nm), far red (730 nm) and white light (6500K) can be regulate individually to generate an optimized light environment for any plant species or specific growth phase. This can lead in a reduced production time or enhance plant quality parameters such as leaf color or taste.
Beside the possibility to adapt the luminaires to the cultures and species themselves or the growth of the individual plant the luminaire allows manufacturers or researchers to change the growth behavior of cultures. Some research projects achieved interesting results with the photon radiation of the LEDs.
The light emission spectra of the LED-KE 300 is controlled with the VisuSpectrum 2.0 software. With 286 watt and an photonflux of about 780 µmol/s, the LED-KE 300 is furthermore a high energy efficient luminary and is used in climate chambers and in greenhouses. The light is emitted in an angle of 120° to ensure a homogeneous light distribution. The light intensity is adjusted by a flicker-free amplitude dimming in a range of 100 %-1%. Due to the high variability of the light spectrum and due to the high light output, the LED-KE 300 is very popular in the field of plant research. With the LED-KE 300 researchers have the possibility to estimate how plants are affected by different light compositions. Because of the high quality and interchangeable components the LED-KE 300 is furthermore a sustainable luminaire for researcher or ambitious plant grower.

The LED-KE VSP (Full Spectrum) is a new high-efficient LED luminaire which was first presented at the IPM 2019. The luminaire was designed specifically for commercial horticulture. The LED-KE VSP emits a continuous sun-like light with very high photon yield.
Since million of years, plants are adapted to sunlight.
Thus, the light of the LED-KE VSP is perfectly suitable for all cultures. The high proportion of blue light in the light spectrum also improves the inner quality of the plants. With the LED-KE VSP the leaf coloration of lettuce and ornamental plants is more pronounced and the aroma of herbs is more intense. Due to the high color rendering index (CRI> 90), leaf colorations appear natural, to assess the plant quality even when the luminaries are switched on.
With 300 watt and 760 µmol/s the LED-KE VSP surpasses all previous luminaires. With a beam angle of 120°, large areas can be illuminated with a homogeneous light distribution. In addition, the flicker-free amplitude dimming in the power range of 100-1% makes the LED-KE VSP bee-friendly, because insect orientation is not disturbed. Furthermore, it can be expected that the activity of the insects is promoted by the natural blue light component and the sun-like spectrum of light.
LED-LE – the new standard of flexibility
The new LED luminaire system of DH Licht is unbeatable concerning flexibility and application due to its modular design. Whether in production or research, in climate and phenotyping chambers, in greenhouses or in multilayer production systems with and without daylight – the new LED-LE can be adapted individually to your needs and always provides the ideal light. The basic system consists of an extruded aluminum profile (patent pending) that can be assembled with LED circuit boards on one or two sides. The LED-LE is passively cooled by air flow cooling is used. Thus, the system can be equipped with up to 800 watts of power with about 2000 μmol/s. In addition, the LED-LE can be mounted horizontal and vertical. The LED drivers are located in a separate housing or installed directly in the control cabinet. The LED circuit boards can be equipped with different spectra. Of course the used LED colours are individually adjustable and dimmable, so that the spectrum can be optimized for every type of plant and growth phase. The control of the LED-LE can be implemented into a climate computer or can be used with our software VisuSpectrum and a commercial computer. The active cooling of the LED-LE can be realized with commercial water through-flow cooler. Therefore, a calculation for the flow rate and water temperature matching the luminaire setup is absolutely necessary. To guarantee the best possible heat dissipation in climate chambers, the climate chamber manufacturer should be integrated into the planning of the light installation. The LED-LE has IP65 protection. It has to be operated on a 230 Volt /50 Hz power source. For power input an easy to install plug and socket system with IP65 protection is used.
The MGR-K 400 CHD is one of the most innovative and flexible luminaire for high pressure discharge lamps.
Many variations of lamps can be used thanks to the separate lamp and ballast housing. Both housings can be connected with each other or separately from one another with aluminum hooks.
The MGR is made of an extruded aluminum profile with cast aluminum closure caps. The housings and the mains are linked with an IP65 plug connector. The luminaire housing is covered with a single-pane safety glass panel. The efficiency level of the luminaire is very high and illumination of areas is optimal due
to the use of specially designed reflectors made of pure aluminum. The ballast and lamp housings are both powder-coated in RAL 9016 traffic white and have a high reflection level, which causes less shadows. The housings are IP65, with hose-proof protection. This also applies to the electrical connection plugs. The insert hooks allow a toolless assembly to profiles or cable harnesses. A mounting bracket can be ordered as an accessory for vertical lighting.
The CDM-K 630 is a robust luminaire with IP23. The double based ceramic metal halide with 600 W emits similar light to the sunlight, so that a well-balanced growth is ensured. The fixture is made of extruded aluminum profile and has a corrosion resistant housing. It is white powder coated. The reflector was designed for ceramic metal halide lamp and has a high effectiveness. There is nearly no shade formation. The lamp is connected with an IP65 plug and socket system. The lamp can be installed toolless.

The LED-KE 308 is the new high-performance luminaire which was developed especially for plant research. With the LED-KE 308 it is possible to regulate 8 different light channels individually. An UV light application is possible with the LED-KE UV to investigate specific plant physiological processes.
