German Florist Association / FDF - strong partner for German florists
Fachverband Deutscher Floristen (FDF) is the professional, employer, and representative body of German florists. Founded on 19 September 1904, the association currently has around 5,000 members - flower shop owners nationwide - organized through its 15 state representations. The FDF supports and advises florists in their daily practice. The association focuses on qualified education and training for florists. A wide range of services and promotion tools for the floral business are further focal points of the association's work. In addition, FDF offers an individual member advice on professional, tax, insurance and legal issues. At IPM ESSEN, the association presents itself together with partners in FDF-World in Hall 1A, Green City. This inspirational space focuses on high-selling concepts and floral collections for the modern florist trade. In its presentations, the FDF beats an arc from high-quality show floristry to practical stagings of floral designs for daily sellings in the flower retail. Trade visitors are invited to a lively exchange with national and international colleagues. In the showrooms, competitions and exhibitions of the FDF, they experience all the different facets of current and modern floral designs.
